Look, I won't bore you with some grand mission statement written by a marketing team. Truth is, this whole thing started in my dad's garage back in '97 when I was supposed to be studying for exams but couldn't stop tinkering with his old Porsche 911.
Fast forward a bunch of years - I'd spent time apprenticing at a few shops around Vancouver, worked alongside some seriously talented folks who taught me that European cars aren't just transportation, they're engineering philosophy on wheels. Every BMW, Mercedes, or Alfa that rolled through taught me something new.
By 2008, I'd saved enough and found this spot on Marine Drive. Started small - just me, a lift, and way too much coffee. The name? My kid was obsessed with mythology at the time, and "Chronos" felt right for working on classics. Time and precision, y'know?
What drives us:
We treat every car like it's the only one that matters that day. Because to you, it is. Whether it's your daily E46 or a numbers-matching restoration project, the attention's the same.
These days we've got a solid crew - each person specializes in what they're genuinely passionate about. Marco handles paint and bodywork like he's restoring the Sistine Chapel. Lisa's diagnostic skills with European ECUs are honestly scary good. And Tommy... well, he can make any transmission behave.
We're not the biggest shop, and that's intentional. Can't do proper work when you're rushing through ten cars a day. We take our time, do it right, and sleep well knowing your machine's running exactly how it should.
