Our Story & Workshop Legacy

Timeless Precision for Legendary Machines

How It All Started

EST. 2008

Workshop Origins

Look, I won't bore you with some grand mission statement written by a marketing team. Truth is, this whole thing started in my dad's garage back in '97 when I was supposed to be studying for exams but couldn't stop tinkering with his old Porsche 911.

Fast forward a bunch of years - I'd spent time apprenticing at a few shops around Vancouver, worked alongside some seriously talented folks who taught me that European cars aren't just transportation, they're engineering philosophy on wheels. Every BMW, Mercedes, or Alfa that rolled through taught me something new.

By 2008, I'd saved enough and found this spot on Marine Drive. Started small - just me, a lift, and way too much coffee. The name? My kid was obsessed with mythology at the time, and "Chronos" felt right for working on classics. Time and precision, y'know?

What drives us:

We treat every car like it's the only one that matters that day. Because to you, it is. Whether it's your daily E46 or a numbers-matching restoration project, the attention's the same.

These days we've got a solid crew - each person specializes in what they're genuinely passionate about. Marco handles paint and bodywork like he's restoring the Sistine Chapel. Lisa's diagnostic skills with European ECUs are honestly scary good. And Tommy... well, he can make any transmission behave.

We're not the biggest shop, and that's intentional. Can't do proper work when you're rushing through ten cars a day. We take our time, do it right, and sleep well knowing your machine's running exactly how it should.

Workshop Evolution

Key Milestones & Growth

2008

The Beginning

Opened doors with one bay and a dream. First customer? A '89 BMW 325i that wouldn't start. Turned out to be a $12 relay. Still have it on the wall.

2011

First Expansion

Added two more bays and brought Lisa on board. Started getting serious about diagnostics - invested in proper European scan tools that cost more than my first car.

2014

Restoration Program Launches

A customer brought in a '67 Alfa Romeo Spider that'd been sitting for 15 years. We spent eight months on it. Word spread, and suddenly we're the classic car guys.

2017

Paint & Body Department

Built out a dedicated climate-controlled paint booth. Marco joined us from a high-end collision center. Guy's an artist with a spray gun.

2020

Tough Year, Good Team

Pandemic hit hard but our clients stuck with us. We adapted, kept everyone employed, and came out stronger. Learned a lot about what really matters.

2022

Performance Tuning Focus

Added dyno capabilities and got certified for ECU tuning. Now we can properly dial in performance builds instead of guessing.

2025

Today & Tomorrow

Seven bays running, team of twelve passionate folks, and a waiting list that tells us we're doing something right. Still learning every day.

Our Workshop Team

The crew that makes it all happen - mechanics, technicians, and detailers who genuinely care about your ride.

Our Workshop Philosophy

What We Actually Believe

Quality Over Speed

We don't rush jobs to fit more in. Your car gets done when it's done right, not when the clock says so.

Honest Communication

If something doesn't need replacing, we'll tell you. If there's a cheaper option that'll work, you'll hear about it. No upselling nonsense.

Continuous Learning

Cars keep evolving, so we do too. Regular training, new equipment when it matters, staying current with European automotive tech.

Respect the Machine

Whether it's a daily driver or a show car, we handle it like it's precious. Because to someone, it absolutely is.

Credentials & Partnerships

We don't just talk a good game - we've got the certifications and relationships to back it up.

ASE Certified Technicians

Our team holds multiple ASE certifications across various specialties.

Factory Training Programs

Regular updates from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen.

Classic Car Network

Connections with parts suppliers and specialists across North America.
